We’ve reached the end of the week with the idea of commitment. The Bible story was from Luke 5: 17 to 26 and we discussed the commitment of the friends of the paralysed man.
Craft today was person paperchains representing the paralysed man and his friends. With windmills made as well.
Wet weather resulted in indoor games today.
Finally a big thank you to Tom and the helpers for the great fun all week. Of course we also need to thank the parents for loaning us the wonderful children for the week.
Today the topic was change and we talked about how Zacheus was changed when he met Jesus.
Our craft today was hats.
Today was all about Calling for help and how we might help others, but need help ourselves. We tried to call for help to get off our island.
The bible story was Jesus healing a blind man.
The wonderful craft today was a stained glass window.
We were all courageous this morning as we explored courage through the story of the sinner who washed Jesus feet at Simon the Pharasee’s House.
Our craft this morning includes colouring glasses and birds.
Our service this morning is at 11am and will be led by Revd Paul Dean at our Cade Road premises. You may join us in person at the church, or online via YouTube:
We look forward to welcoming Revd Kevin Taylor to led our 11am worship at the United Church Cade Road. For those attending in-person the worship will conclude with an act of Holy Communion. The Live Stream will terminate with the final hymn before the Holy Communion begins.
The service will be available via our YouTube account from 11am in the morning.
