I have recorded a Charles Wesley hymn “My God I am Thine”. Hymns and Psalms 563. We sing many of Mr. Wesley’s hymns to tunes which were written more recently, but this tune is written by a contemporary, of Wesley, Benjamin Milgrove 1731 – 1810, so it seems possible that Charles would have heard his hymn sung to this tune.
