We were joined by about 20 children from the John Wesley Church of England/Methodist Primary School, who kindly hosted the event. The children made their Christingle and put together a card with information about the Christingle. Donation boxes for the Children’s Society had been passed round the whole school.
This morning during our worship the children with help from a couple of parents built our advent ring from a variety of evergreens and the customary five candles. The candles also represent Hope, Peace, Joy, Love and Christ.
