Last weekend SKY youth group undertook the biggest challenge any teenager can face – going without their mobile phone!
From Friday night to Sunday morning, 36 long hours, the group lived without any screens so no apps, no social media, no instant messaging, no google, no technology at all! They did a fantastic job with everyone managing to survive the duration.
The young people were kept busy by learning about Christians living under persecution and the huge challenges they face every day just to follow Jesus. Their stories inspired us to keep on standing up for Jesus in our daily lives.
Our group went without a voice for a weekend to remember those who never get their voices heard. Thank you everyone for all your support and generous giving in aid of Open Doors, a charity that support persecuted Christians, with your help we raised £623!
