A lovely service this morning led by David Smith who spoke to us about the Baptism of Jesus by John according to Matthew 3: 13-17,with the theme of “A life changing experience!”. He shared with us his own life changing experience and challenged us all to listen for that life changing experience. He also shared the following painting by David Zelenka which is available on wikimedia commons:

Our Junior Church had fun this morning and the senior group wrote Thank You cards for members of the church congregation who help with running the church.
We have Messy Church at 4pm this afternoon on the theme of “Looking after creation”.
Next Sunday we have services at 09:30 at Kennington led by Rev Paul Dean, at 11:00 at Cade Road led by Rev Paul Dean and Mr MacDonald. Our evening service next week will be with the Churches Together in Asford as part of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. As such the service will be at 18:00 and will take place at the Ashford Baptist Church, Station Road We would love to see you at any of our services.
